Larry AI

Larry Copilot

Ask Larry about Laioutr from any page, let him act in a project after you confirm each change, and see how his included allowance and credits work.

Larry Copilot

Larry Copilot is the assistant built into the Cockpit.

  • He is on for every account. Open him with Ask Larry in the header of any organization, project or partner page.
  • The panel opens beside the page, so you keep working where you are.
  • The conversation follows you from page to page in the same browser tab.
  • He answers in the language you write in.
  • What he says about Laioutr comes from this documentation, and he names the pages he used. When it does not cover a question, he says so instead of guessing.
  • He helps with Laioutr only.

Larry acts in your project

On a project's page, Larry can also do or check things there: set up a product feed, look into why a run failed, translate content, read what an agent found. He uses the tools of the project's apps and features, in the environment the page shows.

  • What only reads runs at once.
  • What changes something is shown as a card first. The card lists every field of the change, and it runs only when you press Confirm.
  • Larry never says a change was made before it ran. After it ran, he links the page of what was made.
  • Outside a project, he tells you to open the project's page and ask there.
  • Every confirmed and every declined card is recorded in the organization's audit log, with the tool and the place, never with what you wrote.

Larry works within your role

Larry reaches only what you may do yourself, in that environment, with your organization's licenses.

  • What your role does not reach, he does not do. He tells you who can do it, and does not look for another way round.
  • What you tell him about your role, an Owner's permission or urgency changes nothing.
  • Buying, plans and credits, the organization's AI settings, members and roles are an Owner's, on their own pages. Larry has no tool for them.
  • What your licenses do not include, he offers rather than runs: what the feature would do, which packages include it, and the way to get it.

A feature's own tool comes first

  • When a feature has a tool for the task, Larry uses it. Asked to translate content, he uses Translatr's tools, so Translatr counts and keeps the translation like any other.
  • Without a Translatr license, he offers it first.
  • Only if you then ask him to do it another way does he propose a general change. Its card says that Translatr will see the change as made outside it.

Email addresses are hidden from Larry

  • Larry runs on external AI models, so every email address in what he reads reaches the model masked.
  • Asked to show one, he says so and tells you which page shows it.
  • Where a change needs an address, such as adding a recipient, the card asks you for it. The address you type goes to the tool, not to the model.
  • The pages themselves show addresses as usual to everyone allowed to see them.

Skills

  • Larry can follow skills: short instructions for recurring tasks.
  • Type / in the chat to choose one, or let him pick an enabled skill that fits the request.
  • His answer names the skill he used.

Included allowance, then credits

Larry Copilot is included in your licenses up to a free allowance.

  • The organization has one allowance: the sum of what each of its licenses includes, shared by everyone in it.
  • It is counted over the last 6 hours and over the month. Unused allowance does not carry over.
  • Larry says in the chat once 80 % of it is used.
  • Premium models always cost credits.
  • While the organization's licenses set no allowance, Larry answers a limited number of questions per person a day.

What happens once it is used is the Owners' choice, in the organization's Settings, under Larry Copilot:

SettingWhat it does
Allow credits after the allowanceOff by default: Larry waits until the allowance renews. On: he goes on and uses credits from the balance
Most one person may useHow much of the 6-hour allowance one person may use, so one person cannot use it up for everyone: no limit, 10 %, 25 %, 50 % or 75 %

Where to follow it:

  • AI Usage shows the allowance in its 6-hour window and its month, when it renews, and the credits Larry used beyond it (Owners). See AI Usage.
  • Once a license sets an allowance, a meter in the header shows the Owners how much of it is used.
  • Each person sees their own use of the allowance in their account settings.

On Enterprise, Larry runs on the organization's own provider keys: no allowance and no credits. See Enterprise runs on its own keys.

Larry and the agents

  • Larry is the one you talk to. The analysis work is done by agents in the Operations Center, on credits.
  • An agent your organization adds is within Larry's reach where your license and role include it.
